Dr. June Dies-Keys, BPHE, DC, has
been a Chiropractor since 1987, and has been adjusting animals since 2005.
Dr. Murray Stewart, BSc, DC has been a Chiropractor since 1986 and has been adjusting animals since 2007. Twenty-two years of Chiropractic practice on humans gives him vast clinical experience that aids in achieving optimal health and function in animals. Chiropractic is designed to look at disturbances in the nervous, muscular and skeletal systems. Muscles move joints and together they feed information to the nervous system. The nervous system constantly monitors the muscles, joints, organs, all the bodies tissues and their inner workings. Disturbances within the body manifest in your pet in many ways like incontinence, gait problems, trouble getting up, "unusual behaviours" etc. Chiropractic adjustments return motion to joints and muscles, reduce inflammation and swelling and affect the flow of information to and from the nervous system. Chiropractic care, regularly, or post injury, prevents visible symptoms and pain from developing in your pet. Whether your pet participates in competitive dog sports or is a back yard athlete, Chiropractic adjustments may be beneficial to his health and well being. The Doctors at Animal Wellness Centre will be happy to assist you in evaluating your pet's needs. |
